Hi guys,
I used to use Tweetdeck on the iPhone (still do on the computer) but I switched to the official Twitter app when it came out and I find it much better. The tweet history goes very far back whereas Tweetdeck only shows the previous hundred or so tweets (you might think that’s a lot but if you follow a lot of people or are searching for a tweet from over a day ago it comes into it’s own!) Also, the Twitter app shows thumbnails of pictures which is a nice touch.
On Niall’s recommendation I updated to EirText Pro, but I was disappointed to find that in fact it only shows replies other EirText Pro users. However, there are other features which make the upgrade worthwhile such as multiple accounts and text signatures (much like email signatures).
Another of my favourite apps (and Dusty will like this one) is FStream. It lets you stream radio stations which don’t have their own apps. All you have to do is enter the stream URL and station name and press play. You can also copy and paste the URLs on a computer and add them via a web browser as long as both the computer and the iPhone/Pod/Pad are on the same wifi network.
