Interesting piece on the deskless office but you don’t have to go to Amsterdam to experience it. At Workspace Anywhere, Microsoft Office, Exchange e-mail, Windows, Citrix & and data storage are available from any computer, iPhone or thin client you nominate just by clicking on a browser. As reported on the podcast good for working on the move, from home, a trade show, hotel or anywhere you are in the world where you can access the internet. http://www.workspaceanywhere.com

Nice one Stephen. Good to know someone local is doing it.
For anyone else who hasn’t guessed, Stephen works for WorkSpaceAnywhere !

What’s interesting about the Amsterdam office isn’t so much the technology, which exists in the wild already, but the mindset behind how it is used.
At an organisational level employees have the choice of interacting in different ways to achieve different goals.
If you need a space to collaborate and exchange ideas you don’t need a boardroom. If you have a client coming over you can meet them on a sofa instead of across a table.
This combination of a flexible management style aided by industrial design is what is driving the Dutch model, and sets is apart from the current ‘road warrior’ model.
